Pfhor Engineering Decks 0-6 (NET VERSION)
- Mark Brooks [rtfm@kisi.com]

Here's another map for Marathon. This one is a large slice (7 decks) of a Pfhor engineering section. You'd never have guessed that by the name though. I am working on a Pfhor vessel adventure, and will incorporate this into it, but for now this is just another net map to kill your friends on. There is 1 Tozter and 2 Spankers available, a small horde of aliens, a few shield rechargers, and lots of that green acid/plasma stuff...but none that can hurt you yet. Look for more (probably 2 more) engineering levels in the near future. In fact, I plan on releasing this whole Pfhor adventure, with a few changes <G>, as individual net levels as well. As a net map, this has been tested by 2-5 players all on PowerMacs. It plays ok with at least three, but 5 should make for a better game. By the way, this map will NOT play on a 68K Mac. If you have any other problems, let me know. I used Phorte 1.0d15 PPC by Steve Israelson (steve_israelson@mindlink.net) to create the level. The changes from the beta-release (for those who test for me and the just plain curious) include the removal of one Tozter and one recharger, a touch of asymmetry, the addition of infared goggles, and a little texture touch-up.
If you have any problems or suggestions, please send me some e-mail. Just plain feedback would be nice too. Feel free to repost this map, unaltered, and with this doc. If you feel the need to alter the map, please ask before spreading it around and, even if you keep it to yourself, I'd like to know what you changed. If you enjoyed this map, you might want to try my other maps that are currently available:
